Fasting hikes, yin yoga & inspiring input on blood sugar balance – an autumn week in the eastern Ore Mountains where everyday life grows quieter.
Treat yourself to a week just for you. During Buchinger fasting with Jana Seifert you go without solid food and gain time instead: guided fasting hikes every day through the autumn forests of the eastern Ore Mountains, soothing yin yoga, relaxation and practical input on nutrition and metabolism.
Jana combines her knowledge as a graduate nutritionist with her experience as a fasting guide and yoga teacher. The focus is not on doing without or on performance, but on calm, clarity and your personal path to more lightness – with ideas you can easily take home into everyday life.
Tap a day – the hiker walks along and you see what awaits you.
Sample schedule – the exact order and times of the sessions (including yoga) may change.
Jana guides you through the week mindfully, empathetically and with sound knowledge. Included in the price:
Fasting makes you receptive to stillness. In yin yoga you hold gentle postures for several minutes; in autogenic training you learn to relax yourself with simple formulas. Try it right now: follow the circle – breathe in as it grows, breathe out as it shrinks.
The times of the yoga and relaxation sessions may change.
This is what a day of Buchinger fasting with Jana looks like – layer by layer the glass fills up. Drinking plenty is part of it.
As a graduate nutritionist, Jana explains clearly what happens in the body during fasting. Tap a card to flip it.
After the festive breaking of the fast on Friday, you return to everyday life gently. Move the slider to your number of fasting days.
Green = fasting days · light green = transition days
On Thursday, Jana’s talk tells you everything about reintroducing food – so you start the transition days at home well.

The week is for healthy adults who want to combine fasting with movement in nature, relaxation and sound nutritional knowledge. A normal basic level of fitness for daily hikes of about three hours at a relaxed pace is enough. You fast in a small group of 4 to 12 participants.

Usually only on the first one or two days. After that, most guests hardly feel hungry at all.
With one or two relief days at home (light food such as fruit, vegetables, rice) and by cutting down on coffee, alcohol, sugar and nicotine beforehand. Jana will get in touch with all the details in advance. More: preparing for Buchinger fasting.
