Cross vault restaurant
Our restaurant’s special charm comes from the unusual combination of a brick cross vault and sandstone columns. In fact, the room was once a cowshed – a few photos in the restaurant tell its story. In 1840 it was converted into a restaurant.

Stone-oven pizzeria
What makes our stone-oven pizzeria in Saxony so special? We bake in an original stone oven from Italy – made by a manufacturer that has been building pizza ovens for over 100 years. The wood comes straight from our surroundings, and our pizza chef hails from beautiful Sicily.
Just as the Zollhaus is a house steeped in tradition, our pizza stands for true craftsmanship: a crispy base, fresh ingredients, a real wood fire.
120guests in two halls
Room for your celebration
Hall 1 and hall 2 can be divided by a partition wall and together hold up to 120 guests – or you can use them separately. There is also a separate room for a buffet. Ideal for family celebrations, Seminars or your Wedding in the Ore Mountains.

FAQ about dining
When are the restaurant and pizzeria open?
Rudolf’s Restaurant: Monday to Friday 11:30 am–2 pm and 5–9 pm, at weekends all day 11:30 am–9 pm. The pizzeria: Wednesday to Friday 5–9 pm, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays 11:30 am–9 pm. You can see live whether we are open right now on our menu page.
Can I order food online?
Yes! Order pizza and dishes online and pick them up from us. You can find all dishes and prices beforehand in our online menu.
Are there vegetarian and vegan dishes?
Yes – you will find plenty of vegetarian dishes on our menu, and every pizza is also available without cheese. For our fasting guests we also cook special menus for Alkaline fasting and Buchinger fasting.
Can I hold a celebration with you?
Of course! Our two halls hold up to 120 guests – ideal for family celebrations, Seminars or your Wedding in the Ore Mountains. Write to us anytime.
When is the beer garden open?
As soon as temperatures rise, we open the beer garden – perfect after a hike, a bike ride or a dip in our Natural lake.
