Das Zollhaus hat jetzt ein Freibad.
Wir haben es gerade noch geschafft: Seit Mitte Oktober 2026 ist unser Freibad fertig. Ein kleines, aber feines Schwimmbad mit Holzverkleidung – direkt unterhalb unseres Sommergartens, umgeben von Wiese, Hortensien und den Tannen des Osterzgebirges.
Im Frühjahr 2027 nehmen wir den Pool richtig in Betrieb. Je nach Wetter öffnen wir Mitte April oder Anfang Mai und baden, bis es Ende Oktober zu kalt wird. Wir freuen uns riesig, dass das Landhotel Altes Zollhaus jetzt auch ein Hotel mit Pool im Erzgebirge ist.
Baden dürfen bei uns alle: unsere Hausgäste und – auf Anfrage – auch Gäste von außerhalb.
Und wer es noch natürlicher mag: Unser Natural lake liegt nur ein paar Schritte entfernt.

Unser Freibad ist bewusst klein gehalten – kein Sportbecken, sondern ein Ort zum Abkühlen, Treibenlassen und Durchatmen. Geheizt wird es ausschließlich von der Sonne: Je wärmer der Sommer, desto wärmer das Wasser.

Wann ist das Freibad im Zollhaus geöffnet?
Die Badesaison beginnt je nach Wetter Mitte April oder Anfang Mai und endet je nach Wetter Ende Oktober. 2027 ist unsere erste volle Saison.
Ist der Pool beheizt?
Ja – aber ausschließlich von der Sonne. Es gibt keine zusätzliche Heizung. Die Wassertemperatur hängt also vom Wetter ab: im Hochsommer angenehm warm, im Frühling und Herbst erfrischend kühl.
Wie groß ist das Schwimmbad?
Das Becken misst 8 × 5 Meter, also rund 40 m² Wasserfläche. Ein kleines, aber feines Freibad zum Abkühlen und Entspannen.
Wer darf das Freibad nutzen?

Kann ich nach der Sauna in den Pool?
Sehr gern – nach dem Duschen geht es aus der Sauna direkt ins Freibad.

The Zollhaus now has an outdoor pool.
We only just made it: our outdoor pool has been finished since mid-October 2026. A small but lovely wood-clad pool – right below our summer garden, surrounded by lawn, hydrangeas and the fir trees of the eastern Ore Mountains.
In spring 2027 the pool goes into full operation. Depending on the weather we open in mid-April or early May and keep swimming until the end of October. We are thrilled that the Landhotel Altes Zollhaus is now also a hotel with a pool in the Ore Mountains.
Everyone is welcome to swim: our hotel guests and – on request – visitors from outside the hotel.
And if you prefer it even more natural: our natural lake is just a few steps away.

Three ways to enjoy our pool.
Summer days
Sun lounger, a book, a dip in the water, back into the sun. On warm days our pool is the loveliest spot at the Zollhaus – overlooking the garden and the forest.
For cold-water swimmers
Because only the sun heats it, the water is nicely fresh in spring and autumn. Our cold-swimming friends will love it – a perfect match for the Wim Hof Method.
After the sauna
Out of the sauna, a quick shower – and straight into the pool. The most natural cool-down we can imagine.

FAQ about the outdoor pool
When is the Zollhaus outdoor pool open?
Depending on the weather, the season starts in mid-April or early May and ends at the end of October. 2027 is our first full season.
Is the pool heated?
Yes – but by the sun alone. There is no additional heating, so the water temperature depends on the weather: pleasantly warm in high summer, refreshingly cool in spring and autumn.
How big is the pool?
The pool measures 8 × 5 metres – around 40 m² of water. A small but lovely outdoor pool for cooling off and relaxing.
Who can use the outdoor pool?

Can I go into the pool after the sauna?
Absolutely – after a shower you can go straight from the sauna into the pool.
Are there other places to swim at the hotel?
