Tradition
Our restaurant’s special charm comes from the unusual combination of brick cross vaults and sandstone pillars. In fact, the room was once a cowshed – a few photos in the restaurant tell the story. In 1840 it was converted into a restaurant. The great thing about the Zollhaus: you are free to choose whether you have pizza or dine à la carte.

What makes our stone-oven pizzeria in Saxony so special? Quite simply: we bake in an original stone oven from Italy – made by a manufacturer that has been building pizza ovens for over 100 years. The wood comes straight from our surroundings, and our pizza chef is from Italy too, from beautiful Sicily to be precise. Just as the Zollhaus is a house steeped in tradition, our pizza stands for genuine craftsmanship.

One highlight of our dining in the Ore Mountains is surely our pizzeria with its original Italian stone oven!
We have two halls for you to choose from: Hall 1 and Hall 2 can be divided by a partition wall and together seat up to 120 people – or you can use them separately. There is also a separate room for a buffet. Ideal for family celebrations, Seminars or your Wedding in the Ore Mountains.
Breakfast
Breakfast here is also popular with our alkaline fasting guests. In the evening it is the perfect place for a nice glass of wine or a relaxed dinner. Just ask our team.
The first rays of sunshine tickle your nose, the birds are singing and the trees are stretching. The days are getting longer and the nights shorter – summer at last! When temperatures rise, we open our hearts and our doors and warmly invite you to our beautiful beer garden in the Ore Mountains.

Whether you want to enjoy a beer, soak up the sun or simply have a good conversation – our beer garden is the perfect place for you. Also ideal after a hike in the Ore Mountains, a bike ride or a dip in our hotel’s own natural lake. So come by and say “Hello!”
