On 4 March 2023 the Greenpeckers Band from Dresden brought Irish folk to the Erzgebirge – with stories, dancing, an Irish menu and four encores. A look back with an instrument quiz.

The soundcheck already showed the level.
The three musicians began – with Irish songs and many stories.
An Irish menu brought Irish flavours closer – more on our food: Rudolf’s.
The mood rose until everyone danced.
After four encores it ended – and the band announced a return next year.
An older couple happened to be at lunch, drove home to fetch their overnight things – and came back just for the Greenpeckers.
Traditional and contemporary folk songs, instrumentals and ballads: you’d never guess the band is from Dresden. Live is always best – the energy makes every concert unique. Music at home: Radio Zollhaus.
