Let yourself be surprised: in Giulia’s painting course, your own picture takes shape step by step – whether a colourful owl or a mandala. After a short introduction, you paint with clear guidance – no previous experience needed. Even if you haven’t held a brush since your school days, you’re in exactly the right place.
In the end you don't just go home with a good feeling, but with your own picture – finished, unique and made by you. And if the weather plays along, we move the studio outdoors, into the nature around our Natural lake.
Your mandala workshop
Mandalas are among the favourite motifs in the painting course. Try it out here: draw a line across the disc with your mouse or finger – it is mirrored several times, and dot by dot your own mandala takes shape. Almost like a little meditation. You’ll get the real feel of brush and paint with Giulia.
What happens when …?
Choose two colours and watch them mix on the palette. In the course, Giulia shows you how to create completely new shades for your picture from just a few primary colours.

Do I need any previous experience?
No. The course is suitable for all levels – including beginners. Giulia guides you step by step.
How long does the course last?
One hour: on 10.11.2026 from 2:30 to 3:30 pm. Feel free to plan some time before or after – for a coffee in the restaurant or a walk by the natural lake.
What do I need to bring with me?
Just a good mood! Let yourself surprise yourself.
Can I take my picture home?
Yes – everyone takes their own picture home.
Where do we paint?
At Landhotel Altes Zollhaus – and outdoors in the fresh air when the weather is nice. You'll find directions to us under Arrival.
Can I stay overnight too?
Of course. Take a look at our Rooms or discover Excursion destinations in the area.
Are there other dates?
Yes – more dates are available on request, also for groups. On 04.11.2026, Isabel also invites you to her Colour Workshop .
