When is a good time for alkaline fasting?
You might ask yourself when it is most appropriate to focus on Alkaline fasting to get involved. Basically, it is always good for the body to eat a diet that emphasises alkaline foods, enjoy peace and quiet, experience gentle exercise through yoga and hiking, breathe in the forest air and support the body with massage, liver wraps and foot baths.

Alkaline fasting is not recommended during pregnancy
However, it is important to point out that it is recommended to refrain from alkaline fasting during pregnancy. However, an alkaline diet can of course also feel good during pregnancy, as you want to keep your body fit and eat a diet rich in vitamins and minerals, especially during this time.
Alkaline fasting comprises 5-10 days in the customs house
The alkaline fasting programmes at the Zollhaus last 5, 7 or 10 days. Depending on the length of the programme, 1-2 yoga sessions are already included (you can book more on site), 1-2 alkaline massages, a guided hike and several alkaline foot baths and liver wraps. The area has many well-signposted hiking trails, so you can take a few steps on your own through the woods and fields every day.
Especially in winter, saunas support alkaline fasting
Entry to the Wellness landscapewhich consists of four saunas - one of them Infrared sauna - included. Taking a sauna can be very helpful during alkaline fasting as it supports the body's purification and detoxification process. In the sauna, the body is stimulated to sweat out toxins through the skin. The infrared sauna is particularly recommended here, as its deeper effect is said to have a stronger detoxifying effect than a conventional Finnish sauna. The infrared radiation penetrates deep into the tissue layers and makes the body sweat. The heat of the sauna also stimulates the circulation and promotes blood flow, which in turn supports the elimination of toxins through the skin.
If you prefer a classic style, you can of course also choose the Finnish sauna sweat and thus purify yourself. Another way to support the detoxification process in the body is to Salt sauna. In the salt sauna, the evaporation of salt water creates a salty microclimate, which has a positive effect on the respiratory tract and metabolism. This in turn helps to remove harmful substances from the body. So even in winter we can optimise our body's Alkaline fasting and regeneration.
