Mosaic bench

inspired by the marvellous Park Güell in Barcelona

with its impressive benches and the Tarot Garden by Niki de Saint Phalle in Capalbio in Tuscany, I now have my own bench in the beautiful Ore Mountains.

First Mosaic Bank

Each tessera is broken by hand and the shape and colours on the bench are intended to represent the flow of life.

For me, a bench is not just a place to rest; rather, a bench is a meeting place and an opportunity to pause, exchange ideas and reflect.

In the upper section of the bench, I have created the Yin and Yang sign from stylised leaves, which represents polarity and yet interrelated forces.

Our existence consists of this polarity.

I wish you all a reflective time and inner peace and I wish you all a place to pause for a moment.

Dear friends, I would be delighted if you would visit my bench in the Ore Mountains.
