National and international artists whose exceptionally interesting object idea was selected by the initiator via the application.

How can you get into the selection?

The artists send their application with the object idea they would like to realise via this Application form to Hotel Zollhaus Betriebs-GmbH.

A selection is made from the applicants and the artist is then invited to present his or her object in more detail.

If the idea is convincing, the realisation period is agreed and nothing stands in the way of the creation of the work.

During the creative development phase of his object, the artist lives in the Hotel Zollhaus with free board and lodging.

Which material is possible?

Weatherproof natural materials... wood, stone, metal-with and without colour design

What size is required?

The sculpture park is being created on an area of approx. 5,000 - 8,000 square metres.

The sculptures should have a minimum height and a minimum width of one metre.

Individual objects or groupings are possible, created by individual artists or in collaboration with several artists.

What happens to the property after completion?

As the aim is to provide national and international artists with a Place of work and a Permanent exhibition and at the same time give interested guests and visitors the chance to be present during the creation process of an art object. Ownership of Hotel Zollhaus Betriebs-GmbH on the hotel property.

This will gradually expand the hotel's range of art offerings, the level of recognition of the artists and the hotel, and the international appeal of the region.

The artist declares his/her agreement with this regulation in the application.

What does the artist get out of it?

During the creation of the object, the artist has free board and lodging at the Hotel Zollhaus.

Zollhaus Betriebs-GmbH covers the costs of the building materials, organises a vernissage with press information after the finished sculpture has been erected and mentions the ceremonial integration of the new work into the sculpture park on the hotel's website - with a name and photo.

In addition, Zollhaus Betriebs-GmbH provides the permanent exhibition space for the object created on the Zollhaus hotel grounds and also reaches thousands of exhibition visitors through the already well-known sporting events and growing publicity through the growth of the new sculpture park.

After completion of the object, the artist will receive an additional incentive of 1 week's holiday for 2 people with accommodation and half board at the Hotel Kalura in Cefalu on Sicily. The artist will also automatically take part in the public competition "Most popular sculpture of the year" (see terms and conditions) and has the chance to win the main prize for new inspiration - 1 week's holiday with accommodation and half board for 2 people at the Chez Le Pacha Hotel in Mhamid, Morocco.

What rights of use and exploitation must be observed?

The artist agrees to give his work to Zollhaus Betriebs-GmbH after completion and to make it accessible to the public in a permanent exhibition on the Zollhaus hotel grounds. In addition, he agrees to the production of photographs of his work and the mentioning of his name, their publication and reproduction for advertising purposes, internet and press information.
