Traditional ice cream is made with cane sugar and milk ice cream is, as the name suggests, made from cow's milk. However, you can also make delicious ice cream yourself using alkaline ingredients - here's how...!<\/span><\/p><h2>Sorbets in the mixer<\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can easily create alkaline sorbets by cutting up the desired fruit flavour, freezing it and then pureeing the frozen pieces of fruit. Depending on the type of fruit, you may want to add a little sweetness and\/or acidity.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For example, for a creamy <\/span><b>Mango sorbet <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">you can blend 600g of frozen mango with the juice of two limes and 4-5 tablespoons of agave or maple syrup until it becomes creamy. You can then serve it immediately or freeze it in a container. If you have a very ripe pineapple, however, you can also blend the chunks pure and serve as a <\/span><b>Pineapple sorbet <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">enjoy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you sweeten, only use sweeteners that are green-labelled according to Wacker. This includes dried fruit, e.g. dates; maple and date syrup; agave, apple and pear syrup; and coconut blossom sugar. Honey and rice syrup also get the \"yellow light\" for alkaline nutrition in everyday life. See what you have and what could harmonise in terms of flavour.<\/span><\/p><h2>Bananas make the ice cream a little creamier and add sweetness<\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you want something creamier, you can mix in bananas. This is because bananas remain somewhat softer in consistency than fruit containing more water after freezing. To do this, first cut the banana into slices, freeze them and then put them in the blender with the other ingredients (frozen fruit, possibly citrus juice and possibly sweetener). If the mixture is already quite soft after blending, place it in a container in the freezer again before serving.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Plant milk can also be added, firstly to make blending easier and secondly to achieve a slightly milkier or creamier texture. If you add plant milk or another liquid to the blender, it is also advisable to freeze the mixture briefly in a container after blending before serving so that the ice cream is not too runny when you serve it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A delicious <\/span><b>Strawberry ice cream <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">can be made from 2 bananas and 500ml strawberries, for example. Optionally, you can add dates for sweetening and 50-100ml plant milk. After blending, freeze everything again until it has the desired consistency for serving! A very simple <\/span><b>Banana ice cream <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">can be blended from the frozen slices of a banana and half a cup of plant-based milk, optionally sweetened with dates and flavoured with vanilla, then frozen and enjoyed!<\/span><\/p><h2>Coconut milk for a richer, creamier ice cream<\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For even creamier and richer ice cream flavours, we recommend using coconut milk. For example <\/span><b>Nut ice cream <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">delicious. Mix with coconut milk, <a href=\"https:\/\/landhotel-altes-zollhaus.com\/en\/which-nuts-seed-bases-allowed\/\">Nut butter<\/a>the sweetness of your choice and vanilla; and freeze it before serving. Alternatively, replace the nut butter with the <a href=\"https:\/\/landhotel-altes-zollhaus.com\/en\/which-nuts-seed-bases-allowed\/\">raw nut of your choice<\/a>. You can make delicious pistachio ice cream from coconut milk, pistachios, maple syrup, vanilla extract, almond extract, a pinch of <a href=\"https:\/\/landhotel-altes-zollhaus.com\/en\/salt-during-alkaline-fasting\/\">Salt<\/a> and - optionally - a touch of spirulina for a stronger colour.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coconut milk is also good for fruit ice cream. You can add coconut milk to sorbet recipes, for example to the strawberry ice cream recipe and the mango ice cream would work very well. As you freeze the mixture after blending with coconut milk before serving, you can also mix pieces of unfrozen fruit with the coconut milk.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A visually very beautiful way, <\/span><b>Lemon ice cream <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The easiest way to make a lemon \"cup\" is to hollow out the lemons (i.e. remove the flesh), freeze the lemon halves and the flesh, and then blend the lemon flesh with coconut milk, maple syrup and possibly more lemon juice. Pour the finished mixture into the frozen lemon \"cups\", freeze again and enjoy!<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I like to experiment with the flavours.
