Those who book the \"<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.retreat-zentrum.com\/yoga-natur-und-du\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yoga, nature and you<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d oder &#8222;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.retreat-zentrum.com\/yoga-und-wandern\">Yoga and hiking<\/a>&#8220; bucht, bekommt nebst den 8 Uhr und 17 Uhr Klassen auch ein Yogamen\u00fc jeden Abend aus drei vegetarischen oder veganen G\u00e4ngen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Zollhaus works with several teachers from the region who have different styles and personalities that lead to varied classes. Roman (who you may also <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/landhotel-altes-zollhaus.com\/en\/our-teachers\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">you have already got to know here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) is one of the most active teachers at Zollhaus.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Roman orientiert sich an &#8222;Sivananda Yoga&#8220;<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Roman is trained and primarily teaches \"Sivananda Yoga\". This is a form of yoga that differs from other yoga styles such as vinyasa yoga in that it focuses more on relaxation and breathing exercises. This form of yoga is based on five pillars: correct breathing, correct relaxation, correct nutrition, positive thinking and meditation. Each pillar is important for holistic health.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sivananda Yoga is a great practice for those looking for a way to de-stress and calm their mind. Typically, a session begins with pranayama, a breathing exercise, followed by sun salutations and a series of asanas (yoga poses). The aim is to stretch and relax the body while calming the mind by focussing on the breath and movements.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A Sivananda session often ends with a deep relaxation (Shavasana) and a meditation exercise. Sivananda Yoga is a great practice to strengthen the body and calm the nervous system, leading to an overall feeling of relaxation and peace. Roman takes care to adapt the teaching and variations of poses to the student's experience and physical challenges.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Other yoga styles such as Yin Yoga are integrated into the lessons<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He also incorporates other yoga styles into his classes, first and foremost Yin Yoga - a particularly slow and relaxing form of yoga in which the asanas are held for a long time. The more dynamic Vinyasa Yoga - an active yoga practice in which the asanas are combined in a flowing sequence - is also incorporated. The sporty, demanding Ashtanga yoga, in which a fixed sequence of yoga exercises is practised without music, influences Roman's classes for yogis who like a physically challenging practice; for others, he also integrates yoga therapy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Roman's aim is to enable participants to experience for themselves the wonderful experiences that he himself has had in yoga. And that is that yoga has many components and effects that go beyond the physical into both the mental and spiritual. Hopefully his classes will inspire people to continue their practice at home, whether independently, in a studio or with online classes.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>He pays attention to the correct alignment in the yoga poses of yoga students<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: 400;\">It is also important to him to support students in performing their asanas as safely and accurately as possible. For example, he sometimes corrects students' yoga poses in class, which is particularly appreciated by them. His aim is for yogis to develop a feeling for their body, not to injure themselves and perhaps to turn inwards mentally rather than focussing on \"higher, faster, further, better\".<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are delighted to have Roman as a balanced, proactive, very friendly and extremely competent yoga teacher who really lives what he teaches.
